We are currently seeking a Global Internal Control Analyst for one of our clients, a leading industrial company.

In this role, your primary mission will be to conduct value-added assessments and analysis of internal controls environments. You will perform targeted audits of internal controls and contribute to the development of data analytics initiatives to support the internal control environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess the control environment to determine the level of testing required in the entities.
• Prepare and execute detailed audit programs tailored on the specific entities.
• Perform SOX and FCPA audits in the assigned entities, travelling upon request. 
• Identify potential risks according with the SOX/FCPA requirements.
• Document the work performed in working papers with appropriate evidence for the conclusions reached.
• Prepare written reports of the audit findings, their mitigation recommendations and process improvement proposals.
• Follow up and assist on the findings remediation with the entity’s Finance team and the Global Internal Control team.
• Participate in special projects related to the improvement of the internal control environment, including digital transformation initiatives and data analytics. 
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Portuguese desirable.
• 2-5 years of experience in external audit companies.
• Experience in Big 4 firms is a plus.
• Knowledge of SOX and FCPA policies.
• Preferred knowledge of US GAAP
• Maintains a focus on targeted objectives.
• Availability to travel occasionally.
